Our aim

The DIGIHERIT project supports the sustainability and growth of heritage-linked micro-businesses through digital transformation and vocational education (VET). By bridging the gap between traditional businesses and modern digital tools, it enhances competitiveness while preserving cultural identity. DIGIHERIT focuses on equipping entrepreneurs with essential digital skills through tailored vocational training that aligns with labor market demands. Additionally, it promotes cultural heritage by integrating innovative education methodologies and digital solutions.

To achieve these goals, the project begins with research and needs assessment to identify digital challenges faced by micro-businesses. Based on these findings, a specialized curriculum will be developed, supported by a MOOC platform for accessible online learning. Hands-on training workshops will ensure practical skill application. DIGIHERIT also prioritizes long-term impact through dissemination and sustainability strategies, fostering collaboration between entrepreneurs, VET providers, and stakeholders to build a resilient ecosystem for heritage-based businesses.
